Company Profile

Vista Universal, Inc. commenced operations as a California Corporation on October 1, 1972. Located in Hayward, the company offered its services as a Lighting Maintenance Contractor to the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Starting with a small base of accounts back in 1972, we now have 5 offices and cover all of California.

  • October 1, 1972 - founded Hayward
  • December 1, 1981 - a branch office was opened in Sacramento
  • March 1, 1983 - a branch office was opened in Los Angeles area
  • September 1, 1987 - a branch office was opened in Fresno
  • July 1, 1998 - a branch office was opened in San Diego

We are members of NALMCO (International Association of Lighting Management Companies), ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors), PLASMA (Professional Lighting and Sign Management Companies of America), Bay Area Builders Exchange, and in the Safety Services Company for active participation in the Safety Sam network of safety-minded contractors. We are also an endorser and supporter of PEERS (the Program for Energy Efficiency through Responsible Stimulus). We offer 24 hour emergency service seven days a week. Our technicians are state certified (see link to the "California Department of Industrial Relations").
